Welcome to Marlboro County Golf Course
Marlboro Country Club originally opened in 1939 with 9 holes designed by course architect, Arthur Hamm, a native of Scotland and an associate of Donald Ross. In 1998, the course added 9 additional holes. In 2023 Marlboro County Government purchased the property from the Grice Family that had been running it since the mid 2000’s and rebranded it as the Marlboro County Golf Course. Currently it is being run by the Parks, Recreation and Amusement division of the County.
New Era at Marlboro County Golf Course
Big changes are underway at the Marlboro County Golf Course following the County’s purchase of the former Marlboro Country Club. Upgrades include a new fleet of electric Club Car carts, Toro maintenance equipment, and a brand-new irrigation system. Our 18-hole course offers an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all skill levels, set on 130 acres in beautiful Bennettsville, South Carolina. Stop by for a round of golf, relax on the clubhouse porch, or practice your game on our chipping, putting, and driving areas.
